I don't necessarily agree on all… but the reason for a lot of it is what happened in 2022.
In 2021, Jordan Travis was 9th in the ACC in Total QBR at 63.0.

In 2022, he was 1st at 85.8.
From 2019-21, w/QB guru David Cutcliffe as coach, Duke as a team had a Total QBR of 41.0, 113th in FBS.

In defense-oriented Mike Elko's 1st year, Riley Leonard, as a first-year starter, posted a Total QBR of 73.7.
